Our big day has come and gone...but not without memories we will hold close to our hearts for a lifetime. What a perfect day it was!! *Dreamy sigh* I got to marry my sweetheart...my best friend and the man I'm now proud to call my husband, my hottie Scott, under our grand old Oak tree...our Kissing Tree. A venue symbolic of our deep rooted love that continues to branch and grow. What a life we've had so far, and I look forward to all the adventures we are going to continue to have now as husband and wife.
A week later we still have to pinch ourselves to realize we've done it....we took the plunge, we tied the knot, we took that leap of faith to be joined in holy matrimonial in front of family, loved ones and God to become man and wife.
We wanted our day to be filled with love, romance, life and laughter, and it was! The sun was bright and the sky was blue, the sunset was brilliant and the night sky was filled with a zillion brilliant stars. The Gods were smiling down on us that day. We wanted our friends and family to be there to witness our sacred vows to each other, to surround us with their love, good zen energy and spirit as we were pronounced husband and wife. We were enveloped by tons of good mojo as we began our journey and adventures as a married couple. Our guest are our dearest people who have been, and will continue to be, our support system, our morale boosters and our safety net on our journey. Our families came together to celebrate us, with us, and we loved every crazy, fun, loving moment of it!
We are on Cloud 9 and love being married to each other. We are soaking in all the love, well wishes and messages still coming our way. We are basking in our newly wed bubble...beaming and glowing as we are acknowledged as Mr & Mrs. Tobias. Our house that was filled with family and friends is now empty, our wedding stuff has been put away, my beautiful gown has been hung and the last piece of wedding cake has been devoured...today is our first glorious day alone as man, wife and son-son (Coley). Therefore I'm keeping this blog post short and sweet, we dreamed a little dream and it came true ~ we found each other~
